Additional Details

Exploring Lyricism in Hip-Hop is an engaging lesson plan designed to help students analyze the artistry of hip-hop lyrics. Through the exploration of rhyme schemes, metaphors, and storytelling, students will learn how hip-hop serves as a powerful medium for self-expression and social commentary. The lesson includes listening exercises, lyrical analysis, and creative writing activities that encourage students to craft their own verses to try recording at the end of the lesson. By the end of the session, students will have a deeper appreciation of hip-hop as a literary art form and a platform for authentic voices.
